Account Development Manager

The Brainshark Account Development organization has grown considerably in the last year, both in mission and headcount. Account Development has evolved into a strategic growth driver for Brainshark’s leading footprint in the Sales Readiness market and the sustainable growth of this team requires management with grade-A passion, commitment, and coaching skills.

Brainshark is looking for a frontline manager to lead 6 – 8 Enterprise Sr. Account Development reps to succeed against their quality opportunity creation goals and to develop these individuals into their next role in the Brainshark organization.

We are looking for a leader with management experience and one who is willing to bring in fresh approaches to our effectiveness and new ideas to evolving the success and culture of our sales organization. Someone who can develop players without acting as one.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an Enterprise Account Development region against their monthly goals
  • Serve as a collaborator with reps, management peers, and executives to execute your vision
  • Find ways to optimize the daily/weekly processes while holding the team accountable to metrics
  • Weekly one-on-one meetings with each reporting rep to coach and develop their skillsets while absorbing their needs & feedback
  • Meet regularly with sales enablement to evolve the onboarding & continuous development needs of your region
  • Become proficient with Brainshark & other supporting technologies for the team members to maintain readiness and consistently produce
  • Stay current on strategies & tactics for optimal business development performance and work closely with the Director of Account Development to shepherd these best practices
  • Additional responsibilities (that you are welcome to help craft) as your role requires and expands


Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years of business development management experience
  • Experience in a B2B software organization (preferably sales or marketing tech)
  • Preferred proficiency in the following software: Salesforce.com, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, D&B Avention, Brainshark (an obvious plus)

  • Metrically/data driven & unabashed about holding team members accountable
