Product Marketing Manager

Brainshark is looking for a creative, energetic marketer to help lead our product marketing strategy. This person will report to the VP of Marketing and play an integral role in continuing to shape and expand Brainshark’s position as the leading sales enablement software provider.

Primary responsibilities will include managing the successful launch of new Brainshark products and enhancements, developing product messaging and positioning, conducting competitive research, and working with analysts and PR professionals to promote the Brainshark platform and brand.   • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of new product launches and enhancements.
  • Collaborate across departments on both internal and external communication plans for new product releases.
  • Help establish positioning and value messaging for Brainshark offerings, with input and collaboration from key stakeholders.
  • Write compelling website copy for and ensure product messaging on the web is consistent with Brainshark’s value proposition and brand.
  • Generate public-facing content (PowerPoints, videos, data sheets, etc.) to support marketing and sales enablement activities.
  • Research target markets, competitors and customer personas.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to prospects, analysts, key influencers, customers, and others.
  • Manage relationship with third-party PR agency to support product press releases, industry awards, analyst research and other media opportunities.
  • Work with Sales Enablement team to provide internal updates/communications and deliver periodic training on product messaging and positioning.
  • Collaborate with Product Management team on platform enhancements and identifying new priorities for Brainshark’s product roadmap.
  • Help make Brainshark the go-to leader in the sales enablement and readiness space.


  • BA/BS required. MBA a plus
  • 5-8 years in marketing and/or selling a Cloud/SaaS software product
  • Experience in product marketing, product management, or sales enablement
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex functionality and related benefits to prospects, customers and partners
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and InDesign a plus
  • Experience with Brainshark software is desirable, but not required
