The Learning Developer will be responsible for a variety of learning activities focused on teaching Brainshark customers how to get the most out of their Brainshark products. Attention to detail, high standards for quality, a professional demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver them on-time is a must. We are looking for an experienced instructional designer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the training and development field.
Creating and Updating Learning:
By far the most significant part of this position is creating new learning content using Brainshark. This work includes conducting any required research, writing scripts, and designing slides in PowerPoint. The Learning Developer will be responsible for working with other stakeholders, such as product management, marketing, and other departments, to gather information needed and to verify accuracy of content.
The Learning Developer is also responsible for keeping learning content up to date. In order to do this, the Learning Developer must maintain a thorough working knowledge of Brainshark products and how our customers use Brainshark to solve business challenges through Brainshark.
This highly creative individual must have strong instructional design, writing, and PowerPoint skills for use in multi-media, and follow Brainshark best practices and recommendations for how to design great content.
On occasion the Learning Developer will present on-site and/or web-based workshops. This involves everything from managing all logistics, such as coordinating with the client, ensuring the shipment/availability of all training materials, to conducting the workshops. Travel is required.
